How acupuncture works

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine needles into the selected appropriate acupoints in the body to regulate the flow of Qi, pronounced "chee".

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Qi is described as the "vital energy" that flows through the body in channels, and it is essential for our physical and emotional health and well-being. In terms of modern science, acupuncture might work by releasing endorphins as the first potential mechanism.

“I booked weekly acupuncture with Marca before commencing fertility treatment.
